Paperwork

Once an internship has been arranged, the intern has to sign a training agreement that will provide the terms and conditions under which she/he will perform the job. Non-European citizens have to apply for a long-stay visa and a residence permit in France. More details for the documents needed are provided below.

A helpful card that interns can have with them is the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) that can be used to medically necessary, state-provided healthcare in France. When someone shows hers/his EHIC, she/he will receive treatment under the same conditions and at the same cost  as people insured in France.

Air tickets are paid by the intern. A good and updated site is the following: http://www.airtickets.gr/.
